2015 - WBF Fall Championship Game
Sunday November 8, 2015
Game Summary - The 2015 WBF Championship game was a well played exciting game from beginning to end. Both teams enjoyed some nice November weather unlike the the winter-ish elements we had is the 2014 WBF Fall Classic.
Similiar to the 2014 Championship game, The BlueJays started hot with 2 runs in the 1st inning. A single by Kemon Lardas was followed by John Guaneri's 5th Home Run of the Fall Season. Ronit and Satruhon Ramnarayan both had RBIs in the 3rd inning and Kemon Lardas finished the BlueJays scoring with a solo Home Run in the 5th inning.
The stars of the game was all of the BlueJays pitchers. Kemon Lardas, Ronit Ramnarayan and John Guarneri combined on the no-hitter keeping the Brewers offense at bay by only allowing the one un-earned run and no hits. The BlueJays were also helped by some great defense by Anthony DiMarcello in RF and a great defensive game (showing his Spartan Valor) by Thanasi Dilos behind the plate. His 2-3-2 DP in the 2nd inning thwarted a Brewers scoring threat. He was helped on the play by Satruhon Ramnarayan with a great return throw from 1B.
But the Brewers put up a valiant fight to the end and their pitchers (Vincent Gagliardi, Thomas Salerno, and Joe Salerno) pitched a great game only allowing 5 hits to the strong BlueJays offense. Congrats to both of these great teams on a fun and successful 2015 WBF Fall Baseball Season.
