This division is designed to give 6 year old players their 1st experience in competitive baseball while still developing their baseball knowledge & skills. Also is designed to teach the players all of the necessary rules to eventually play in the older NYCE \ WYAL age groups.

Here are the basic rules for the 2019 WYAL 6u division:
- Born after date - 4/30/2012
- Field Size - 15 ft mound (Coach Pitch) / 45 ft bases
- Time - 1 hours & 30 minutes
- Innings Played & # of umps - 6 innings & 1 umpires ($25 per team)
- Leading & Stealing is NOT allowed
- Drop 3rd strikes are NOT enforced
- Bats Allowed - Wood bats & T-ball (USA) certified only bats. Any player using anything that is not T-ball (USA) certified will be called out after completion of the at-bat
- Lineups - Universal
- Runs per inning - 5 runs per inning, 6th inning is open
- No Mercy Rule
- With coach pitch no unlimited foul balls after 5th pitch
(5 pitches or 3 swing & misses)
