Mets Sandlot Baseball League - 2021 NYCE 9/10u Division
This division is designed for 9 and 10 year old players looking to take the next step playing competitive travel baseball. Stealing bases are introduced in this division and the players will start to learn how to properly run & defend the bases.

Here are the basic rules for the 2021 NYCE 9/10u division:
- Born after date - 4/30/2010
- Field Size - 46 ft mound / 60 ft bases
- Time - no new inning after 1 hour 45 minutes
- Innings Played & # of umps - 6 innings & 1 umpire
($25 per team)
- Stealing is allowed after pitch is released
1 warning per team & then player is out
if player leaves early
- NO leading, & Drop 3rd strike
- Bats Allowed - Wood Bats only
(No composite, Bamboo allowed)
- Runs per inning - 7 runs per inning,
6th inning is open inning
- Universal Lineups
- Mercy Rule - 15 after 3 innings, 12 after 4 innings
& 10 after 5 innings
