This division is designed for Varsity High School \ College players looking to play real baseball using all of the 

MLB rules (except for the time limit) including the

MLB regulation field size of 60' mound \ 90' bases. 

This division is also designed to give older high-school players the opportunity to continue playing high level competitive baseball

& be seen by college and professional scouts after their

high school season is over in early spring.

These games can be used by scouts to allow the college and professional recruitment process to extend into the

late spring & summer seasons.

             Here are the Basic Rules for the 2019 NYCE Senior division:
 - Field Size - 60 ft mound / 90 ft bases
 - Innings Played & # of umps - 7 innings & 2 umpire ($70 per ump)
 - Time Limit - No new inning after 2 hours
 - Leading & Stealing is allowed
 - Drop 3rd strikes are enforced
 - Bats Allowed - Wood bats (Bamboo allowed & Composite NOT allowed)
 - Lineups - 9 batters (using DH) or 10 batters (using EH)
 - Starter can re-enter into their original batting spot,
        but bench players CANNOT re-enter once removed.
 - Mercy Rule - 12 runs after 4 innings & 10 runs after 5 innings
